Eating Rice Cereal for the First Time

I ate rice cereal for the first time tonight, and I loved it. I made a face after the first bite but then I wanted more. I lean forward with my mouth open when I want more. The doctor told Mommy and Daddy that I may only eat a few bites and that I probably would not like eating with a spoon, but he was wrong. Mommy had to make seconds because I wanted more.

What is this funny feeling in my mouth?

Hurry up! I want more!

Yummy, yummy in my tummy!

Baptism

I got babtised today. Tio Martin and Tia Renee are my Godparents. I was baptised at Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Vail by Father Alt. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. I watched and listened to Father Alt, and I did not cry when he poured holy water on my head. I wore the baptismal gown that my Daddy, Aunt Patti, Caitlin, and Poppy wore. Mommy and Daddy had a nice party after the baptism. I want to thank everyone for their love and support.

Here I am with Mommy and Daddy and my grandparents

U of A Football Tailgate

Today I went to my first U of A football tailgate before the Wildcats and NAU game. I wore Caitlin's old cheerleader outfit. It's a little big, but I still look cute. I had a great time watching all the people.

Look at our matching cheerleader outfits.

5 Months Old

I am five months old now. Mommy and Daddy can't believe how much I've grown up. I did not have a doctor's appointment this month, but Mommy weighed and measured me. I am approximately 13.5 pounds and 23.5 inches. Now that I can roll from my back to my stomach by myself, I like tummy time. I love to play on the floor with my toys. I am becoming more independent. I vocalize and smile a lot. I am still chewing on my hands but no teeth have come in. Below are some pictures of me. Look back at my previous monthly milestones and compare how I've grown.

Labor Day Weekend in Show Low

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Show Low to visit Grammy and Grandpa. We had a nice relaxing weekend.
Mommy looks tired, but I'm ready to play. Look at me giving Mommy a big hug.

Hanging out with Grammy on the porch. The weather was great. Friday night I slept through a loud thunderstorm. The thunder woke everyone else up.

Here I am sitting on the porch playing with my moose.
