Pulling to a Stand and Creeping

Last month I learned how to pull to a stand. Now I've become very good at it. I pull up on many objects and I also creep along them. I have really enjoyed this new found freedom.

Watch me stand up all by myself.

Playing with the Door Stopper

Now that I can crawl, I explore everywhere I can. I found the door stopper in my bedroom. I always crawl over there, move the door, and play with the door stopper. It makes funny noises.

Helping Mommy with Laundry

Mommy was trying to fold the laundry, so I decided to help. I don't know how much I helped, but Mommy thought I was cute.

Mommy, do you want me to fold this or put it on a hanger?

Mom, do we have to fold all of these clothes?

Do these go together?

Disney Show

Today I went to a Disney show with Aunt Patti, Aunt Karen, Aunt Dia, Nana, and Caitlin. It was a nice surprise. Mommy and Daddy wanted to go to a movie, so Aunt Patti took me to the Disney show. I enjoyed watching the characters and listening to the songs. What a nice surprise. Mommy and Daddy should go to the movies more often.

Annie the Dog

Now that I am bigger, I like to play with Annie. She is very good with me, but I don't like when she kisses me in the face. When I hear her bark outside, I look for Annie and make sounds that mimic her barking. Mommy and Daddy are happy that Annie and I are friends.
Aren't we cute?

Don't even think of playing with my toys, Annie

Talking to Uncle Michael

Grandpa and Uncle Michael tried out a free Google program that allows them to talk to each other on the internet in real time with video. I got to talk to Uncle Michael while I was visiting Grammy and Grandpa in Scottsdale. He got to see me crawl. I really wanted to climb on the computer and push the buttons, but no one would let me.

9 Months Old

This month has been very productive for me. I learned how to crawl, pull to a stand, and go from a lying to a sitting position. Mommy and Daddy realized that they needed to baby proof the house. Caitlin was very happy that I learned how to crawl. We have a lot of fun following each other around the house. Early in the month I was sick with bronchiolitis and an ear infection. It made everyone sad to hear me cough, but I got better. At my 9-month doctor's appointment, I was 26.5 inches long (10-25%) and 16.5 pounds (10-25%). My doctor was very happy with my progress. Here are some pictures of me throughout the month.

I got up here all by myself

Look out. Here I come!
Look at my new teeth

I am almost too big for my changing table. I make it very difficult for people to change my diaper because I refuse to lay still on my back.

Look how big I look in my carseat now.

Movers & Shakers

Today I started Movers & Shakers. Daddy got to go with me because Mommy had to work. She was very jealous. I had fun stretching, singing songs, and going through the obstacle course. Aunt Patti took pictures and videos. She also took me home. Thanks for the help, Aunt Patti.

I crawled through the tunnel like a pro. I was not scared because Caitlin has one at home.

Off the trampoline, onto the mats.

Walking on the balance beam.

This is a video of me pushing a walker. One of my classmates came to help me at the end.

Clapping

I learned how to clap on command. I surprised Mommy and Daddy because they did not teach me how to clap. Now they want me to clap at everything. Sometimes they are so easy to please.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Happy birthday, Grandpa. I love you.

Happy New Year!

2009 was a rough year for many people, but it was very good for Mommy and Daddy because I came into their life. I did not stay up to watch the ball drop, so neither did my parents. We were all in bed by 10:30. Mommy said we celebrated with the people on the east coast at 9:00 pm. Maybe next year I will stay up.
