Meeting the Easter Bunny

Today I went to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time. This will be my second Easter in a year. Last Easter, I was too small to meet the Easter Bunny because I was less than a week old. I was excited to meet him this year. There was no one in line behind me, so I got to take my time and warm up to him.

It's almost my turn to meet the Easter Bunny. I am waiting patiently in line.

I walked up to him all by myself.

Me and the Easter Bunny. I wasn't very happy to be sitting on his lap, but I cooperated and took the picture.

Child-proofing the Liquor Cabinet

I learned how to open the liquor cabinet and I refused to stay away from it. I tried taking some of the bottles out. Mommy and Daddy think I liked all the colors on the bottles. Mommy and Daddy decided that they needed to child-proof the liquor cabinet right away. Annie and I helped Daddy fix the cabinet so I could not open it. We also put one on the cabinet with pots and pans.

Annie and I are a big help.

Are you ready for the screwdriver, Dad?

Daddy was lying on the floor, so I had to "get him." Any time someone lays on the floor, I like to climb on them.

Oscar

Grammy has a very big stuffed Sheep Dog named Oscar. I went to visit Grammy and Grandpa and I enjoyed playing with Oscar. I jumped on him, climbed on him, and cuddles with him.
Don't lick me Oscar.

He's so soft and cuddly

Little Mechanic

Sometimes I go to the race track to see Daddy race. I like to look at all the equipment and play with Daddy's tools. Nino Martin put a shop towel in my back pocket so I look like a mechanic. I was checking out the tires on the quad. Maybe someday Daddy will teach me how to work on cars.

Happy 2nd Birthday Caitlin

My cousin and best friend, Caitlin, turned 2 today. She had a birthday party the weekend before her birthday because she got to go to Disneyland with her Mommy and Daddy on her birthday. I had a lot of fun at her party. Cousin Gracie came down from Phoenix. We had a good time playing. Mommy even let me eat part of a cupcake. I also had my first chicken nugget. Thanks for a fun party Caitlin.
When we first arrived at the party, I spent a lot of time playing with Daddy's cousins Rick and Cheryl.

My first chicken nugget. Yummy, yummy in my tummy.

The birthday girl! She can use the slide all by herself.

Lets blow out the candle

My first cupcake. I thought it was pretty tasty.

I'm sorry Caitlin. I thought you were done with your cupcake.

The three cousins. Mommy quickly snapped this picture because it is not easy to get us all to look at the camera at the same time.

Helping in the Kitchen

Now that I am mobile I like to explore everything. I found the towel drawer in the kitchen, so I like to throw all the towels on the floor. Mommy can't wait until I learn to put them back in.

Hey Mom. Look what I found

Did I do a good job?

11 Months Old

One more month until my birthday! Mommy and Daddy can't believe how fast this year had gone. This month I learned how to walk. I get into everything. Caitlin loves that I can walk now, but I am still not fast enough to keep up with her. Here are a few pictures of me. Look how much I have grown.

Clubbin' at Chuy's with my Ninos. Mommy and Daddy let me ride one of the video games. I really liked it. Mommy and Daddy think I will like riding rollercoasters with them (as long as they are not in the dark. Remember the train ride at Knott's Berry Farm?)

I was fussy and Mommy thought I was hungry. I guess I fooled her. I fell asleep a few minutes after she gave me a bottle.

Grammy, Annie, and I. Annie has been very good with me. I even say her name sometimes. I always go to the back door to look for her. When I hear her bark, I imitate a barking sound.

I barely fit in my car seat anymore. Do you remember my 1 month picture in my car seat?

A big girl in the bathtub. I like to stand up, but when Mommy tells me to sit down, I do.

I Can Walk!

I had been taking 2 to 3 steps on my own, but I usually fell after the third step. While we were riding the Bahia Belle in San Diego, I surprised Mommy and took seven steps. She had enough time to get out the camera and turn it on. I fell at the end, but I didn't even cry. Daddy did not believe Mommy because he was still on the top deck when it happened. Mommy called him downstairs so I could show him myself. I feel like such a big girl now. Now it is time for many more bumps and bruises.
