Disneyland: Day 1

DISNEYLAND!!! This was my first trip to Disneyland. I had a wonderful time. Mommy and Daddy said I behaved very well for a toddler and I kept up with the demanding schedule. I amazed everyone. Our group included Me, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Grandpa, Caitlin, Aunt Patti, Uncle Ben, Nana, Aunt Dia, Uncle Paul, Grandpa Corkey, Aunt Karen and Uncle Joe. Nina Renee, Nino Martin, and Angelica were supposed to come but they had to cancel at the last minute because Angelica's volleyball team was in the semi-finals (They finished 3rd in the tournament...Congratulations Angelica but we missed you guys).

We left very early in the morning on Wednesday October 13th. I slept half of the car trip which was Mommy and Daddy's plan. When I woke up, we stopped for breakfast and then checked into the hotel. Here are some pictures of Day 1 of the Disneyland trip.

Traveling with Chango. We drove to California with Grammy and Grandpa since some of our party was flying home, which made room in other cars for the ride home. We were able to get out group to California in three cars instead of four.

Once we checked into the hotel, Caitlin and I stayed in a room with Nana and Grammy while others went for a walk. Later that evening we went to Knott's Berry Farm for Chicken dinner and a little shopping in the Christmas stores. Finally we went back to the hotel to rest up for our first day at Disneyland.

Memorial Day Weekend in Show Low

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Show Low to visit Grammy and Grandpa for Memorial Day Weekend. We left at 9:30 Thursday night and arrived at 1:30. I slept the entire way there, but I woke up when we arrived. I had some trouble getting back to sleep, but it didn't affect my sleep schedule the rest of the weekend. We had a good time playing on the golf course at the end of the day. I wish I had that much grass to run on at home.

The following are cute pictures of me playing in the grass. Mommy is so happy that I enjoy playing with a soccer ball and a bat and ball. She hopes I will want to be involved in some type of sport when I grow up.

Big Girl Car Seat

Mommy and Daddy took me shopping for a new car seat since I am about to outgrow my old one. I get to face forward in the car now, which I am very excited about. I like my new car seat. Hopefully it will be the last one I need since Mommy and Daddy have to buy three of them. I need one for Mommy, Daddy and Nana's cars because I ride in all three during the work week.

I am such a big girl now.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to Mommy and all the Mommies out there. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to church in the morning and then we went to breakfast with Grammy, Grandpa, Angelica, and my Ninos. Later in the afternoon, we went to dinner at Aunt Patti and Uncle Ben's house. I love you Mommy.

13 Months Old

Today I am 13 months old. After my first birthday, i started drinking whole milk. I did not like it as much as Mommy's milk when I first tried it, but now I drink both with no problem. Mommy also stopped giving me a bedtime bottle, which I had no problem with. She tried to ween me from the bottle, but I am not ready for it. I drink juice out of a straw with no problem, but I do not like drinking all of my milk from a straw. I will drink about half of my milk from a straw while I am eating, but when I'm done eating, I want the rest of my milk in a bottle. I have started saying some words that people close to me understand. These are some of my new words: Allison, up, down, bath , ball, and off. I am also using my other words appropriately.

My hair is long enough to put in a pony tail on top of my head.

I can climb on my toys all by myself.

I love to sit and look at books.

I even try to talk on the phone.

I also have the remote, which is also forbidden. How can you tell me no when I'm this cute.

Playing Soccer with Mom

Mommy had a soccer tournament this weekend. It was very windy, so I didn't get to stay at her games. Daddy let me get out and play for a few minutes before one of her games though.

Working in the Shop

Today Mommy and I went to see what Daddy and Nino Martin were working on in the shop. I thought I would give them a hand.

I've given them all the advise I had. Now its time to play soccer.

Rylee's Birthday Party

Rylee turned two years old. Her Mommy and Daddy had a party for her at home. I had a great time. I jumped on a trampoline for the first time and I played with water. I also enjoyed swinging on her swing.

My New Best Friend

At Movers and Shakers, the instructors use a sock monkey to show the adults what to do with the children when we stretch before class. I started taking the monkey from the instructors and I carried it around through out class. Daddy told Mommy that they needed to get me my own sock monkey, so Mommy found one at the store. One weekend morning, Daddy took me into his bedroom and Mommy was laying in bed with a sock monkey. I wish you could have seen how excited I was. Now I carry him around and sleep with him. I like to wrap him in a blanket and have Mommy and Daddy put clothes on him. Mommy and Daddy call him Chango (which is a Spanish slang for monkey). Sometimes I call him Annie because i call all animals Annie.

Chango wasn't tired, so he sat quietly and waited for me.

My First Birthday Party

Daddy had a race on my birthday weekend, so we scheduled my party for the following weekend. We had the party at home. Friends and family came from near and far to help me celebrate. Daddy surprised me with a jumping castle, and Nina Renee made me a pinata. About 50 friends and family came over to celebrate. We had a great time. Thank you for a fun time and the wonderful presents.
